Invacare Flexipads are highly versatile pads filled with silicone gel, and can be used to position and support limbs, joints, the torso or the head.
- Position limbs for treatment, whilst recovering from an injury, or to assist in maintaining a more comfortable position to alleviate pain
- Provide supplementary short-term support for patients experiencing difficulty in maintaining posture
There are three different types available:
- Single Flexipad: Single gel sac one side with foam the other - fitted with a buckle strap for fastening to chairs, increases the surface area under elbows, arms or backs
- Double Flexipad: Two gel sacs wrapped in a visco elastic memory foam - highly versatile in a number of applications, including supporting large bony prominences
- Flexipad Ultra: Two gel sacs wrapped in a standard high density foam - a lighter, more flexible format, available with or without straps
